First Day Exploring my New Neighborhood

This morning I got a bug up my butt to take a walk through my neighborhood and get some coffee. It was the quietest I had seen Mississippi Ave since I moved in about a week ago. I had a really good chance to get some fun photos.

I really dig the neighborhood. It’s hip and young, but the energy isn’t overwhelming. Of course, most of the time I have spent out and about has been during the morning and daytime during the week. The first weekend I was here, I threw a bit of a self contained pity party. I went to bed at like 6 pm to make a point to someone. Not sure who.

Anyway, I am really excited to explore a bit more over the next few days.

Oh, by the way, yes. I did stop and sit at two coffee shops today. The first one was cool, but they didn’t seem to have wi-fi and my phone was being blocked. The second coffee shop had better access. The second coffee shop is going to be my ‘daytime’ coffee shop and just hang out. There is yet another coffee shop that will be my night time (open later) and get shit done spot.

That’s all.
